Dag, if you read the post, it does in fact say:
"The boy is still invisible, since he hasn't yet attacked. He drops a Monster Summoning II, bringing in an axebeak! Still invisible."
...
But here's more of the same post, with a significant portion put now in bold:
"The boy is still invisible, since he hasn't yet attacked. He drops a Monster Summoning II, bringing in an axebeak! Still invisible. Thaka and Thren miss some- more than they think- meaning they hit less than they think.
But they still do an awful lot of damage when they do hit, so the boy goes down, but not before a couple more rounds of attacks get made.
Thaka, axebeak kicks you twice, missing with a pair of deuces. You get magic missiled for 7
right before you & Thren tag-team the boy wonder and decimate him."
...
Sorry, just to be totally clear:
'going down' and 'decimate' equals death. Both twins are dead.
