You can ID the sceptre... it's the Greyhelm Sceptre, a powerful item once owned by the Queen of Greyhelm. It casts a Shield spell once per day, TK once per day, and you can Force Push for 6d6 7 more times. Plus it acts like a +1 club.
Nice thinking Brogg but nothing happens when you try the ADMIN password as GREYHELM.
You rest in the Library and take the Book of Clay. Sure enough, it's a Manual of Clay Golems. You just need 1,000 gp per hp you want the golem to have (max of 50), one day per hp in a magic kiln (such as that downstairs), and voila- Clay Golem.
