The Sun Rises
Okay Brogg, you smite the shadow man and he collapses, dissolving in what seems to be a pool of runny tar. The room seems to brighten somewhat, revealing what Renwick discovered earlier- there is an altar and two doors in the back. The doors are ornate, carved in black stone, perhaps basalt. There are enlarged and distorted demonic faces on each, tongues hanging out grinning. The doors are locked. There is a small stone chest, also locked, on the floor behind the altar.
The shadow lady from before enters. She bows her head and places a key on the floor. It appears dawn has come.
"You should leave this place before the sun rises. This is a secret place found only behind the moon. I leave you the key in case you wish to return, to further purge our cursed city of the refuse left behind. I..."
She disappears. A pale shade of light in a thin strand can be seen along the street outside.
